Donald Hall is a true son of Mississippi. He grew up in the Mississippi Delta and knows first-hand the importance of having a vision that not only leads the community now but paves the way for Olive Branch to achieve its full potential in years to come. At an early age, his parents taught him the importance of serving the community and the value of hard work. That same value system drives him now in serving this community and the City of Olive Branch which he loves.

Donald knows the mid-south well. Both as the Regional Vice President of Hope Credit Union and as the owner of Kingdom Home Builders, LLC, a small business he started that specializes in affordable custom-built homes right here in DeSoto County. Donald has been a part of the fabric of the economic community in Olive Branch for over 15 years. Working for a credit union has given a unique view of the needs of local residents. This experience has allowed him to stay connected with Citizens throughout DeSoto County and Mid-South. He has helped people achieve their dreams of homeownership, sending kids to college, and retirement. Owning a small business has given Donald experience in creating jobs, employing local people, negotiating contracts, balancing budgets, and managing projects from start to finish while providing excellent customer service. Additionally, while being a small business owner he  understands all aspects of running a city from managing large teams, creating jobs, and being fiscally responsible.

Donald’s experience serving as the Vice Chairman of the Olive Branch City Planning Commission positions him to become Mayor of Olive Branch because in this role he has made critical decisions that have outlined past, current, and future development of Olive Branch. He has an understanding and has had input in the city policy and comprehensive plan for Olive Branch. Additionally, he has a vision to capitalize on the unlimited potential of Olive Branch that will allow our city to grow and develop responsibly.

Donald is dedicated to serving his local community with true insight into the needs of its residents. As the Ministry Leader and Community Liaison of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, and as the Chairman for Excel by 5 Olive Branch, an organization that focuses on providing educational resources to our youngest citizens. Donald’s community service brings people together and has always been centered on improving Olive Branch and making it a better place for everyone.  Being a community and public servant is the cornerstone of his candidacy.

Donald’s goal as Mayor is to lead Olive Branch in reaching its full potential by making sure our city is safe, enhancing small business, economic development, and infrastructure to be attractive for small businesses and large corporations to relocate to Olive Branch.  Additionally, investing in our parks and recreations to continue to develop programs and activities for our kids to help build character, teamwork, and responsibility to produce productive young men and women.

Donald attended Mississippi Valley State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and later earned an MBA in Leadership and Management from Dowling College. He then moved to the Olive Branch, DeSoto County area, and began his banking career over 15 years ago.
